that was kinda the plan for this site from the outset, but i cannot find anything suitable to use for the superstar database

I looked for something similar myself for ages but settled on the Gallery

Could you just use a modified version of that? It has Keyword search ability and you could setup custom fields - art #, colourway, eyelets, etc........

You could then have a sub gallery for each shoe, with as many decent photos as needed.

But like all solutions......it would need a fair bit of effort to maintain.

yeah its a possibility.. i use it for personal stuff (olstar.co.uk) and i use it for maxxd.com too (look at events gallery)

But i cannot find a way of intergrating it successfully into mybb..

i want to be able to grant users permissions to upload photos and edit stuff if they wish

totally understand. definitely a huge project but i think one in the end that would be extemely useful. especially if we all can add content to it (take some of the weight off your shoulders). glad to know you are at least considering it. let me know if i can help in any way.

it will be done mate, it jsut needs to be done right from day 1 so we dont have to port the data across to something else..

it probably is gonna be gallery... just need to get it built into the forum
