I've read the tutorials and i'm afraid to brick mine when doing it. Think i just go to a whizzkid, pay him 15 euro's and go home with 3.40 oe-a running on it.
I grew up to become a screw up...

most new PSP's come with a firmware around 2.5/6/7 depending on the date of manufacture.
all new games upgrade the console from time to time, I had poker on mine and it upgraded it automatically...
v1.5 is the way to go for homebrew, most games will go onto a 4gb duo-stick card, saves the running gear on the PSP too.
some newer firmware progs are prone to 'bricking' the PSP, rendering it an expensive doorstop!! beware.....

indeed pure!
its great when you fire up the PSP and you have 300 odd games on the stick rather than a carrycase full. had an amazing program, in fact still got it that shrinks full DVD's down to 0.75gb, get 3 on a stick!
had loadsa simpsons, bad santa etc all on stick!!!
cool

Check it out online.
The early PSPs came with a much better screen than they later came with.
Pukka Casio business with higher resolution.

that sounds odd. maybe your lcd is sharper, but resolution must be the same, otherwise games wouldn't be compatibible with it..
cheers
