Thats not 4th july inspiration. Thats 80's/90's acid inspired.
if thats meant to represent america,then whoever designed it clearly don't go out that much.
I think they are meant to represent the bright 4th of July celebrations, which they do well with the flashes of colour on a dark background like fireworks
