Does anyone else here buy backup or duplicate pairs of superstars? It seems like i always buy two pairs of the ones i really like, because i am worried that i won't be able to find them again. or i want to be able to wear them without worry. i must have at least 6 or 7 backup pairs of my favorite soops. that can get pricey...

Yes, if they are limited then keep a pair and wear a pair as that way your not having to worry about condition ect.

I used to buy 2 of shoes that i really liked, but ended up selling them because I either got offered a decent price on them or needed the money.

I don't and probably won't do that. I don't buy soups to sell, I buy them to wear, and if you've worn a pair of soups enough to wear them out then they've had a good life. I do, however, wear more common soups most of the time to save a favourite pairs from unnessecary harm

no, not 6 or 7 pairs of one shoe! i have 6 pairs of soups that i have backup pairs for. I don't think i would go that extreme to buy 6 backup pairs of one colorway!! My backups are of hard to find soops like the brown/orange colorblock from finishline (my favorite soop ever), skates, and personal favorites that i can find backups for cheaply.
