She would like to do it, but they live about 200km away and I don't visit there that often.

The more reason you should visit them then! My mum likes to fix my clothes too so i let her do it if i can't handle the tasks myself.
I try to visit my parents regularly to avoid them from making surprise visits at my place as that always seems to happen when i'm having the worst hangover ever and haven't been too active in tidying up everything.
