Wish I made tunes just so I could sample that fella
As for this thread:
Buy em to wear not display, if they are particularly special then yeah save em for a special occasion but still wear them eventually.
Never buy out of your own size unless it's for a mate etc otherwise you just deprive another head from wearing them

I buy 'em & wear 'em. I would count the wearing of them as displaying them, just beacuse they are not in a case doesn't mean it's not on display. Plus I would rather that people in the know, know what they are. I have a habit at work, in telling customers I like their sneakers (only if the they are 'deeders!), in the same way I got props from a cashier in Sainsbury's last week for my choice of sneakers!
I guess I am also a hoarder as I haven't got round to wearing some shoes as yet, they are just sitting in the boxes all laced up & raring to go!  My other half advised me we were going to tidy the house this week, which I have started & my wall of shoes boxes, has now been spread through several cupboards & wardrobes now!
Yes my sneakers may be worn, but I always like to keep 'em box fresh!!!!!!
Oh & I only ever buy my size (apart from the mini dasslers, which are on display in the lounge cupboard display shelf!)!

As i began to collect shelltoes, i wanted all models of the 35th series. Nearly all. The price of some of them was too high for me.

Therefore i have also some models which i actually would´nt have bought if they would´nt have heard to the series. For example the Graphic, the Paris, the Perfed… I also have several models in a larger size. But i must have it simply.

Now i buy only my size and only kicks which i really love. Like the croc skin vintages...

I don´t know yet whether I wear all shoes sometime. At present all are in their box and/or in the shoe cabinet.

If only they looked like that on the film, then maybe I'd still like star wars
