I'd advise to try local crews mate, not much idea about Peterborough graf but I'd suggest you get on

It's mainly a US site but there's some wicked Uk stuff on there too, used to check it every day for the london underground/br threads

Try the organisers of the VW fest they have a graff stand every year. They do the car/camper in a day but i think all the prep and primer etc is done beforehand. Only going off what I have seen at the show.
Always has the answer to lifes dilemas.
