Can also buy somethin similar from any timberland store
They sell them for cleaning their boots and shoes
Its what i always use on suede trainers
Found somethin i use other than washing up liquid or toothpaste
Called Imperial Leather Foam Burst its like a shower gel which turns into soap when sprayed
Not as runny as washing up liquid and stays where sprayed and easier to work with
used with a toothbrush it works wonders

Don't really think there is to avoid it if you wear your kicks. Just one of those things!

Does anyone know how to clean a dirty pair of white canvas' trainers?
They are fresh out of the box and only worn ONCe and it was a sunny day as well! and now they are filthy. Gutted.

@ Battosai: I've got a pair of Chalk Canvas's and they are the same, I'm going put them in the washing machine I think and keep my fingers crossed.
@Babylatin: Dude switch off your Caps Lock, I'm sure you know but writing in capitals in a forum is seen as shouting.

On the Sneaker Freaker site they recommend something called 'Sea Glow' for yellowing rubber:

I haven't tried it myself, but it might be worth a try?
