I use the hog brush, dry, just to get dust and dirt of the upper then clean the outsole with the Dawn/toothbrush.(washcloth to dry it) I use the JM liquid stuff on the upper only if It's needed.

Ben, that's what they use to get the oil off the wildlife after an oil spill.
Just seems to work well on kicks and it's a good cause, I figure.(they donate tons of the stuff and money to wildlife groups)

Most of mine has come from my OCD with car cleaning
Meguiars all purpose cleaner (upholstry and leather cleaner)
Autoglym lifeshine scotchgaurd
Gliptone liquid leather cleaner and conditioner
Magic erasers
Toothbrush, suede brush and microfibers

@Benji I was looking to try some of that Blue foam AND the JM kit and do a comparison.
So far, Palmolive Free and Clear works wonders for me.
Would LOVE to grab a few more cleaners, and my kit would be 100% complete for ANY shoe I can think of.
We will see how it goes. But for now..

Anyone in here try any of that?
