I treat, condition and protect my shoes with road salt, vo5 hair gel, WD40 and the inside of a banana every day before I leave the house.
I don't wear Crocs, and I don't wear sandals/The pump don't work 'cause the vandals took the handles . . .

Ah, that's where you're mistaken . . . try mixing one part road salt with two parts rubbing alcohol and cream of tartar . . . shake it gently (DO NOT STIR!) for 45 seconds and immerse your shell toes in the frothy brew.
