No metal eyelets yet a padded tounge? Confused

thought it was one or the other?

As mentioned on an earlier thread that the early Superstar 2s had a padded tongue only. The metal eyelets were introduced later.

ahh i see...

there are loads of these on ebay, i dont relaly think kthey are very nice..

look a bit tacky to me :/
