As of now the only stores I know that have mi Originals are NYC, Berlin, and Beijing. And the only reason Beijing got it is cuz of the "superstore" being built because of the Olympics. It's also prob really cheap for them to supply there since the mi Originals are made in China, not Indonesia.
And yeah I got a pair of mi Superstar II's made back in Feb when I was in NYC. I was fortunate to be there at that time because the store had just undergone a complete renovation and had just opened with the mi Originals booths at the back of the store. Sad thing though is that my originals pair I ordered came back messed up like white leather on the back instead of being green. So when I contacted them about it they sent me a fixed pair free of charge and let me keep my old ones, but I still had to wait an addition 4 weeks on top of the 4 weeks that I had already waited. And when I got my new ones the writing on the side with my name was smaller than the first pair like they decided to skimp on the threading, so that was disappointing as well. Overall it's a time consuming process and your not missing much due to the lack of colors and options.
If I had to do it again I'd think twice, and would perhaps get a plain pair and consider getting some work done from ghettro. The stuff I've seen from him so far is amazing, and build quality looks like it was made at the factory. And your options would be endless. Of course this would prob cost more but at the end your truly getting a custom shoe the way you really want it.
