Just wondering if I could get some opinion on the technique of displaying a 'RRP' and 'Our Price' on online shops.
To me this is
because a lot of places seem to pluck a figure out of thin air for the Retail Price, just to make theres look cheap.

Obviously those figures are made up, but does the fact there is a highlghted saving draw you to purchase things like this?
When purchasing I always consider the actual price, not what is was, and think it is a bit tacky to have this style of pricing. But if it means more sales then I have to try it
