I started with my infatuation with Superstars in the early 80's when the playgrounds were awash with Sambas and Kicks and the terraces were full of Trimm Trabs and Gazelles. Being a teenager that liked to be different from the flock [you couldn't get much different than the rubber toed shells] and with my ever growing love for electro and the related fashions coming over from the states at that time I started to rock Superstars and I've never been without a pair since.
A timeless design, one for the kids and old codgers like myself, they are without doubt one of the most iconic fashion items of not only the modern era but of all time.
To sum up I have always felt like one cool funking mofo when I've got them on and just like 25 years ago they put a smile on my face whenever I tie those laces and straighten my kegs over them.
