At the end of the day the only thing that is different from these shoes and the adidas shoes is that only the adidas ones go through some sort of quality control. Thats why you have all the imperfections etc.

If I'm paying good money for 1 out of 100, 500 or 4000, I'd like to know I'm getting the real ones. Even if made in the same factory, I couldn't care less... they are not real in my eyes due to the quality controls you talked about as well as the monetary value the shoes now inflict on the rarity of the limited runs.
