Well thank you, and I would like to point out that I meant no offence to anyone and my description is more my impression than an attempt at a deftinition - No need for anyone to get all EMOtional over this

An ad has just started on TV all the way over here in New Zealand featuring an emo girl and her exasperated father, who becomes futher exasperated when introduced to her boyfriend - same (asexual) haircut/colour, same make-up, same clothes, same jewellery. I have no idea what it's advertising, but I did have a good chuckle when I saw it.
