I agree with you Mr Shoeshotta. I have struggled with CD decks and much prefer the feel of Vinyl, possibly as i have used it for so many years but saying that i know that they have vastly improved Cd decks to try to give the feel of controlling the record but i have yet to try any of these products. I have a CDJ 500 which is great for some effect type things such as looping etc but i struggle to bring a mix in perfectly each time.
There are many aspects to DJ ing and many different styles that suit a particular stlye or genre of music so different DJ's will choose different types of Equipment etc to suit their needs. There is no right and wrong just what ever floats yer boat. I will always be a Vinyl Junkie and i find that the feel and look and sound quality of Vinyl to be far superior to that of CD's but thats just me and probably cos im old!
