Well f**k me sideways with pair of SS2s.
The forum is back! There I was faffing about in an old email account that I hardly ever use, looked at the spam folder and there is one from Olly no less saying he's getting the band back together.
Happy days.
Shame this place died off as I always enjoyed the meet ups (Did I ever tell you I met Josh Homme from QOTSA) on one of them. I don't like to talk about it much. I still have the huge Superstar addiction as always, but I have sold a few pairs that wasn't wearing. Oddly I seem to have sold a number of worn pairs for a decent price - there's still some oddballs out there!
I am selling some now, there are some 1998's and OG 2006's (both UK 10 and box fresh) on my eBay if anyone is interested.
And only the other week I found a box fresh pair of grey PT's (I loved that style) that I bought for £60 in 2009 for only £28! I am still buzzing over that one.
I have also got into customising, (no where-near the level of Sneakerphile or Benji B - who is basically a trainer cobbler) but I did two pairs for Mrs FC who is uk3 so still finds it hard to get nice ones, so I got some blank/white ones, and some Angelus paints watched a few guides on YT and I found it quite relaxing. I will post some pics up here.
I have just bought a pair from Taiwan that have black stripes but I want to change them to yellow but the material is suede. I know Angelus does suede paint for supes.
Anyhow be nice to chat to you all, I haven't given up the search for my grails (SS1 Black/White/mtgold 561965) and give Mr Pure some beef for no reason at all. ;O)
