So I ordered some Sea Glow the other day to try and rehab a pair of sneaks I picked up for hella cheap. Thought I'd share a few photos with you all about progress so far.
Before any cleaning and straight off the rack I found them on.

As you can probably see, they are a bit scroungy and ugly lol. But I just HAD to try to rescue them. Hell, they were only $25, at least worth a shot RIGHT?
Today the sun managed to come out long enough that I could finally give it a go with Sea Glow. Pretty much didn't do any thing more than follow the directions from Island Girl that came with the Shoe kit they sent me. I tried looking at Youtube for some helpful pointers, but it seems that damn near EVERYONE has their own way of going about it, so I bagged that idea in short order LMAO. This is the first of at least 3? treatments I think it'll take to get these kicks back to presentable again. Total time "baking" in the sunlight was no more than 60 mins with three re-applications during that time. Each time (including initial application) a vigirous scrub session was employed to work the product in. After they "baked", all that was/is needed is a wipedown with a damp rag to de-activate the product. So far I feel like it's living up to it's claims. I think I was hoping for more dramatic results, but mostly because I'm impatient
Any way, on to the After pics.
