I've had an awesome day today , I met my father for the first time in my life . My family lived in south Africa in the 70's but returned back to Scotland before I was born . I've looked for him for 15 years and had no luck only to find him on Facebook . I emailed him & when he got in touch , I found out he was living in Leeds so I got in the car this morning and came down to meet him . This morning I had never even seen a picture of this man & in the same day he welcomed me with open arms . The Internet is a fucking awesome thing ! I still can't believe it has happened
