I made it up to the cabbage drop and I can see why a lot of people were well and truely pissed off. Naturally peeps were concerned about how many were available in certain sizes so they could decide whether
it was worth queing all night for. Some of the guys asked for a break down of what was available and it all seemed reasonable enough. It was said that there would be 1 or 2 of the lower and upper sizes
available and from around the size 8's to 11's there were about 3 or 4 pairs of each including half sizes, but by the morning these numbers had changed quite a bit.
In the end there were only 2 pairs in size 9, I think only 2 size 10's, and there weren't any size 8's or 7.5s available at all. Some of the guys near the front had queued for size 8's too.
A lot of people who had queued through the night were pissed off and decided to either leave, or, because they had already put in the hours, buy any size they could to re-sell.
It's not a good way to do things cos people ended up buying sizes that they had no intention of wearing which ultimately stopped others in the queue from getting their true size.

Would you be good enough to participate in this morning's edification?
