My old TV was Sony 55" rear projection model and it was really good. It's a shame that when they finally got that technology right they decided to forget it. Wanted something flatter so got our new tellie for Christmas. It's LG 55LE5500 and so far I have nothing bad to say about it.
What do you guys need WiFi for tellie? I only have wired connection on mine but only thing I use it is to update firmware of the whole system. There is built-in pay-per-view service in it but all the movies are in SD so I rather watch them from bluray to get the full experience. This is probably just regional thing so you might have a better selection in UK.
