That's a very good question. Over the past 5 years, I've found that I do better working for myself, on my own terms. Money is better, and so is the freedom.
I respect that a CSI is a proper job, and respectable as well.
But times are tough and I'm making more than double right now, what I would be if I was working for the Police.
So, as of now, its just a VERY comfortable back up plan, with a safety net and air cushion underneath.
Worst Case Scenario: If all else fails, I will go work for the police, with medical insurance and a pension.
Not bad eh?
