Semafor, I want to start my own customs and I've got a ton of experience with pen on paper (and paint on walls). What's the best way to get my feet wet? You said you started with a certain kind of paint pen? Also, do you typically just visualize a design in your head, or do you draw a silhouette of the shoe and see how the design looks on it first, before doing the real deed?
