See, thats what i've been thinking of doing. Did you panel the roof yourself Lurks, and if so what did you use? Problem I have is that the loft is like a blast furnace in the summer and a meat locker in the winter. I'm guessing if I put in insulation in the roof and then panelled over like you have this would even out the temp, then I could get half of my spare room back.
