Thanks stylz, niko, samo and dregz.
Hopefully it's just the common flu dregz.
Yeah, if i was feeling ill and people began to tell me it could be worse i'd get paranoid but if you've taken then tablet then yeah, should be all good.
Btw, what were you doing in Uganda?
Sorry if you've mentioned already...
I wanted to get into med but after getting my UMAT results it doesn't seem likely.
However, i'd be just as happy to do Biomedical Engineering. I'm aiming for at least a 96 ATAR (it's no longer called a UAI) because the ATAR requirements for the course last year at USyd was 95.55. Yet at UNSW it was 89.something. Still not sure which uni i want to go to though because UNSW is supposed to have a better engo faculty but it's a bit more inconvenient to get to and they only offer a masters.
Oh and news about my first exam... it was horrible... 'twas the same for most other people as well... well that's what they said. The questions were so closed so the notes and essay i prepared weren't quite spot on which was rather annoying... Okay, for paper 1 we had to do some short answer comprehension, a creative writing piece and an essay. Each task was expected to be completed within 40mins making the total length of the exam 2hrs.
For the creative writing i basically had to come up with something on the spot yet the stimulus they provided for us was so retarted (well i thought it was because the scenarios i had planned didn't suit it).
yeah, i'll end it there.
