Sent my iPhone 3G away for repair at the begining of the week cos I had a few software issues (kept crashing and turning off, freezing and the alcelerometer wasn't working properly etc...). Haven't heard anything all week so went into the store to see whats goin' on... apparently they claim they were trying to call me all day, cos theres a quote for £139 for a replacement iPhone on my account as the phone was split down one side! The phone was in mint condition when it was sent away, nearly new looking, certainly no physical damage!! Bastards!
Still upshot is that I managed to get o2 to accept responsibility and they are covering my insurance to replace the phone. So I called the insurance company, who rather unfortunatley didn't have anymore 3G's in stock and wouldn't be getting anymore in... So I get a shiney new iPhone 3G S instead
