I'm all for having genuine members - just not down with a judgement so early I guess. Pics of collections wouldn't have helped me get in - only had one genuine pair when I joined and you guys helped to foster my interest and collection (there was interest there obviously but it would have probably dropped off sharpish without the community). Also - if it just needs an intro - lots of people can write a nice one when they need to, asshattishness can be put on hold temporarily.


I guess it's just the idea of discriminating against everyone and turning away people who could become great members of the community because of other dickheads. Limiting the forum access is fine with me, not getting an idea of anyone beyond one post and some pictures doesn't seem to solve the problem as it's easy to make misjudgements off of that. You guys have got a better grasp of how this place runs than me though so I might just be talking out my arse here
