The 2nd case went right to the wire and money had nothing to do with the outcome. The law was changed to make sure he couldn't buy his way out.
With the first case, i'm still not convinced. Reason being simply this. I'm a dad! If someone messed with one of my kids there is no amount of money on this planet that would stop me from seeing them go to trail.
They took the money!!!! I think that says more about the Chandler family than it does about Michael Jackson. (Although it didn't really help him because it has left a question mark over the case)
Plus with OJ Simpson if it wasn't for dodgy cops tampering with evidence to try and secure a conviction that might have ended differently. Remember 'the glove didn't fit'!
