Well, as you get older you get more mature, and spending 170 on a pair of jeans does seem quite silly, but i look at it in the long term, because i know that, one pair of expensive denim will last me 7 times longer than low quality denim which costs around £30. So by the time you have wore them out, you would need to have bought around 8 pairs to match the life spans of the expensive jeans. So in the long run in this examply, 8 x £30 = £240
