Good Thread Minky, I've often had similar thoughts. At the moment I don't own one single pair of 35ths (get the violins out) not because I don't like any of them but I'd always assumed they'd all be well out of my price range becasue of how highly regarded they all are. It's only very recently, as in the last few days, that I've actually noticed what other people (especially you with ya LQ's) are paying for them and that's made me realise that a lot of the 35th series that I really like are well within my budget. To say I'm pleasantly surprised in somewhat of an understatement! Obviously the consortium range will always be mega-money and rightly so, they are by far the greatest supes ever made in my opinion. I'd kill a man for his FPs, no sweat.

Although I do have to say, I think some of them are a bit lame and were they not part of the 35th series no one would even give them a 2nd glance.
