It's true, Minky. £46 is a pretty good deal, and I don't think I paid much more for my New Yorks or my DMCs. I wonder if most everyone who wanted them has them or the loads of fakes scared people off or collectors have moved on or what. Tough to say, I guess.
The consortiums also seem to have come down in price. I think I paid CDN350 for my Dasslers and they were going for USD500 summer of 2007. Unions were about the same.
I would expect that out of any of the 35ths, it'll be the NBHDs and the FPs that hold their value. They aren't going to increase in this recession, but someday they will. Whether they'll increase more than inflation is doubtful, though.
As always, the market is what people are willing to pay. I know that when RHCP's were on flightclub they listed for USD225. I would pay more than that for a deadstock pair in my size.
