Quality post! Been a long time since I compiled a "grindin tape" everyone had their own when we was younger. Always a TDK D90, always an hour and a half of schmoozey RnB. I'd spend ages selecting and then sorting the order of the songs, slower jams at the beginning then pick up the pace a little bit, buliding to a up-tempo peak before slowing things down again.

Fast forward 20 odd years, a soft nudge in the ribs with my elbow and a whispered "Are you awake?" is as good as it gets now!
