Quality post! Been a long time since I compiled a "grindin tape" everyone had their own when we was younger. Always a TDK D90, always an hour and a half of schmoozey RnB. I'd spend ages selecting and then sorting the order of the songs, slower jams at the beginning then pick up the pace a little bit, buliding to a up-tempo peak before slowing things down again.

Fast forward 20 odd years, a soft nudge in the ribs with my elbow and a whispered "Are you awake?" is as good as it gets now!

Quality mate, pure quality.
I love the way you got 25 tunes for doing the actual deed and hit em with just 3 tunes at the end for the obligitory hugs.

Shellshock i remember compiling them TDK's. Always a bummer if you had one of them cheap arse tape decks that didn't switch the tape automatically and you had to stop to turn it over half way through if you wanted to keep the musical mood flowing.
