Depends what they're made of !
Boil 'em with a little bleach if they're organic.

Napi-san oxy action is the bomb!

Soak them overnight then wash, dry, iron, re-lace and kiss them goodnight.... or not.

Don't fully know mate I wouldn't think it'd hurt to wash them but i've heard that sometimes
the wrong treatment on a stain can "set" it into the material.
Napi-san is awesome for soaking stuff in because it's for- you guessed it nappies/diapers!
If it can get that shit

out it can get anything out and it won't ruin the laces.
Try something similar from your local shops and let us know how you go.
Although if bleach can't get it out they might be stuffed and need to be chucked.
Maybe try white spirit like they use in dry cleaning?

Washing machine or alternatively use the search facility to find the many other cleaning threads
