Footpatrol closes.. (soon)
#1

Footpatrol website Wrote:To all valued customers, suppliers and visitors to Footpatrol,

Footpatrol opened in 2002 in Soho, London stocking select sneakers and footwear. Our mission was to find the best of the best across various footwear brands and to create special projects with our partners.

Our lease at 16A St Anne’s Court has come to an end and we have decided not to renew. We will therefore close the physical store at the end of March 2008.

In the meantime, we will be having a clearance sale at 16A St Anne’s Court.

We are continuing to work with our suppliers on some special projects. These will appear over the summer at our other stores - Stussy on 19 Earlham Street and The Hideout on 7 Upper James Street.

Please check our websites and Crooked Tongues for more information closer to the release time.

Thank you for your support and custom over the past five years.

another sad day! Losing the leading edge, UK collabs.

Obviously a commercial choice but theyve just updated the site?

The site will go on, the tier 0 status will be moved to Hideout and things will carry on.
It'll be for the best for the management in the long run cos FP was a small shop whereas Hideout can handle clothing and shoes.
Definitely a shame it's going though, queueing will never be quite as much fun as it was down that alleyway.
Scampering off into the internet cafe to order the other pair you wanted cos you knew you'd only be allowed one pair once you got inside.
Great memories.

Bad news this, never been meself of course but it's not good losing a cool little shop that's been around for a while and produced some killer stuff

Quite right Woody, I've never been but I liked knowing that one day I could if I was ever in London village.

Dude, did you hide your emotion or let it all out like 'Bob' in Fight Club? Sad indeed. But as Pure said, all the Tier stuff will be available at Hideout. I was walking round my city yesterday and the whole place reeked of 'plain' and 'dull'. End Clothing was the only place that had anything remotely three striped and interesting! FL had 1 pair in and the staff were asking ME what was due in and fresh. Fuck me, the world is mental........

Sad day.
Definitely the end of an era.
Couldn't stomach going back for drinks after the shop closed.
Wore my FP's all day, even while it was raining on the way home when I was cycling.
Queueing just won't be as much fun outside Hideout.
