Thought i'd start a thread about movies, as this is probably my second largest passion (after Adidas!).

I thought it'd be cool for peeps to post any news on new films coming up, reviews on films they have seen, recommendations for films you should have, and even slag off some of the worst films ever to be made!

I hope you'll join in, but if not, sod it, i'll keep myself amused

Okey dokey, i'll start this off.

Was checking out some trailers online last night, and saw a couple that look like they have potential.

First off is Marvels next movie, Iron Man.
Being a fan of Marvel myself, i've been looking forward to this, and I hope that the trailer isn't just showing us the best bits in the movie (like Superman Returns!!!)
Robert Downey Jr comes across amazingly well as Tony Stark, and for a change they have not monkyed around too much with the costume. It looks like it's been taken straight out of the comics. I can't wait.

The other one is Halloween.
Rather than being yet another sequel, this is actually a remake of the original, done by Rob Zombie (check out House Of A Thousand Corpses & The Devils Rejects if you wanna see how he deals with the horror genre)

Im a fan of modified cars and drifting, and even though the films are cheesy, there is lots of fast cars and hotties..

What more could you want?

Im a big fan of marvel too, cant wait for iron man either!

What will they do after that?

Ols, I know you're a motor-head, and there are some nice cars there, but come on man, the movies are cack

As for Marvel, the next Hulk movie is in production at the moment, and they are also working on a new Punisher and also Thor, both scheduled at the moment for about 2008 - 2009. There are also tales of a "Nick Fury" based movie as well (Samuel Jackson is playing the role in Iron Man, so hopefully he'll take the part in a full length movie)

The first FnF film was good, cheesy but good..

the 2nd one was shit.. but had nice cars in!

the 3rd one had terrible actors, but a better script and LOVELY cars..

so, by purpouses of elimination, the 4th one has to have;

First one was an enjoyable, easy to watch movie.
I saw enough of the 2nd one to know I didn't wanna see the 3rd one Still, you may be right about the 4th (but I doubt it!)

Watch the 3rd.. It was made by a totally different director and crew..

Its by far the best film

I preordered it from Play and got my email yesterday saying that its been posted.
Also preordered Planet Terror for next month.
