Yeah true but by bigging up an auction more people become aware of it where they might not have.
Result, I end up with more people to bid against.

If they turn out to be real, we'll delete the thread after telling you.
If you post a link to your auction and say so, we won't delete it.
Sound fair ?
I think this sounds fair.

Yeah i think that was the point , i have seen a few cheapish rare pairs in the past that either i already owned or werent in my size and i have posted the link so someone else might benefit? I wouldnt post a link to an auction that i was watching. I agree too that some people do expect that all the legwork will done by others too which isnt fair , its a tricky one i admit.

But you might end up posting a link to something that someone has quietly found and is intending to buy.
All of a sudden, Bham, bigged up auction.

So a rule on only posting your own links? And in the genuine check, available to specialists or mods only?

Yeah i know fella and that is the tricky part that cant really be resolved i guess but wouldnt it too be equally bad if you found a great pair of Shells and didnt post it and no one got them? I dont know what the answer is, i can see both sides?
