All that you had to do was follow the rules.  Pretty simple.  It was stated right there in front of you.  You probably would've liked SSDB more if you had simply done that.  If you had browsed around in the threads (while trying to decide if you liked it), you would've easily had seen that others' weak "Introduction" threads weren't received too well by us on here.  There's plenty here to like, there really is, but, following the first, main, and primary rule would've surely made your experience a more pleasant one.

As for your Supe in the pic, I don't know the name or year and have honestly never seen that model, but oddly enough, I'm kind of diggin' the concept of them.  Not sure that I'd rock them (since I'd have to be sure that my socks were clean), but with adidas putting out some ugly Supes lately, a clear one could leave the "customizing" up to the owner based on sock selection that day.
