Hello to everyone on this amazing forum that i cant believe i never knew about! My name is Jon im from UK and ive been interested in trainers all my life.... I started my fascination with the Air max range when i was about 16 owning quite a few pairs before eventually having to part with pretty much all of them.

A few years ago i fell in love with a pair of RUN DMC 35th anniversary superstar 2's which were given to me by my boss. Its only recently that ive been in a position where i can actually afford to start collecting more and so for the last couple of months ive started acquiring new pairs..

I love the Original Superstars and would love to try and find some more old classics but i also love the superstar 2's and all of the anniversary editions. I've got only 12 pairs at the moment. But im looking to expand rapidly.

I came accross this site after reading an article about Bram Nein (who's collection made me shout 'oh my god' at the top of my voice and made me wee a little) and im so thankfull i did.

I would really appreciate any advice or pointers from anyone who thinks they might know some info that will assist me. I look forward to speaking to you all....

cheers

Hello Jon and welcome!
I'd forgotten about Nein's shoe room, just had a reminder look on sneakerfreaker . . . absolutely phenomenal. Cool

I don't wear Crocs, and I don't wear sandals/The pump don't work 'cause the vandals took the handles . . .

Welcome Jono, if you stick around you will learn quite a lot and no doubt end up spending a fortune. But remember the golden rule...quality, not quantity! Don't just buy loads of supes because they're there. Stick to ones you actually like, you'll find yourself a happier man for it Very Happy
