The location of the writing sucks I know, and it's too big. But these were a present from my girlfriend and I had to put something on there which reminds me of that. RH are my initials and 14 July 2011 was my birthday

I'm at the store on Wooster quite a bit but I've never done a shoe there. If I'm not mistaken there's no difference (in speed/price/design options) whether you create one there or online. They just have cool adidas chairs that you can sit in.

Well i'm going to be traveling to the UK (London, England and Cardiff, Wales)this summer for about 10 days!

i was hoping that in a few weeks time that i would be able to get someone to order me a pair of mi adidas superstars (all paid for ofcourse) and i would pick them up from them when i headed over to the UK!

but before that happens, I was just wondering.....
has anyone experimented with the gum shell and sole? I just want to see what it turns out like before i decide to go with a gum sole and shell. I really want to! but am afraid to. Any pictures would be great guys!

I've done 3 pairs of mi adidas, all using gum either on sole or shell, and if my memory serves me well there's at least 3-4 more pairs using gum, just scroll through this thread, and I'm sure you'll find them.

I wanted to do that exact colour combo on the last pair. except with a white toe instead. The gum they use looks better with brighter colours. im not too fond of that navy however and will get back to the drawing board!

TBH I wasn't 100% satisfied with the navy colour either when I first received them, but I think it was because I had imagined it differently. I've gotten used to it now and I think it works pretty well. If you're thinking about the same colourway, but with a white shell you just photoshop my pic to see what it would look like. I thought about doing them with a white shell myself too, but ended up going for black as I had done the grey ones with the gum sole/white shell combo already.

Anyway, I'm looking forward to seeing what you come up with mate, make sure to post pics
