Asides from reading it on many sites, I was actually told this by an Adidas representative when I called Adidas up and they searched the specialty stores in their online database for me when I got my first pair of Tennis Super sneakers. Even though (most of, if not all of) Adidas stores don't sell them, they were able to tell me the specialty stores that do.

Sorry fella, but you´ve been had.

Quote:In casy you're not familiar with the Adidas Consortium line - the Adidas design team uses unique materials to construct a very limited series of sneakers including retro models, and are limited to only 350 pair of each model. That's what makes them limited, plus the fact that hardly any Adidas stores actually carry the Consortium line - they are made for specialty stores (like Harput, ALife, Hanon Shoes, Pick Your Shoes, etc). I've never been one to want to wear the same ole' sneakers that you'll see most people wear - I like to seek out unique and limited run sneakers too. So again, why four pair? Because I want to ensure that I'll have a pair to wear for the next 20+ years. I'll get about five years worth from each pair.

Pickyourshoes is not a Consortium partner. We (Sole Service) produced our own Consortium Adidas called Oslo last year, that was produced in 800 pairs. I don´t know where the number 350 came from, but that´s wrong.

I don´t even know why I bother explaining this, but there you go, a little schooling for you.. I suggest you seek a bit more knowledge before you come on here and try to school people..

BTW.: Mr.P. is VERY familiar with Consortium mate, don´t front..

Rant over

I don't know why you bothered to explain anything to me either, because you sure haven't schooled me in any way, shape or form. If anything, your "rant" has shown you to be an impetuous read-between-the-liner that misconstrues and misinterprets what someone says to suit the needs of your "little-person" syndrome.

Me stating that Adidas Consortium sneakers are made for specialty sneaker shops is a whole world away from you stating that "Pickyourshoes is not a Consortium partner" - I don't see how what it is I stated even comes close to what you "rant" about and I didn't use the word "partner", nor does my statement even come close to it in any semblance of comparison.

As for me being had, I suggest you take issue with what the Adidas representative told me about the Consortium line - what I said wasn't made here to be or meant to be 100% gospel - I merely stated what was told to me. But, in any case, re-read my words again verbatim for I am a well-read and well-spoken individual quite capable of speaking for myself. I make tightly woven statements leaving no room for misinterpretation, so school yourself before you try to school me, for I am not some wet-behind-the-ears snotface that speaks out of turn (which you seem quite capable of).

As for the Adidas Consortium Oslo sneaker you speak of - with all due respect I've seen it and it's not something worth bragging about.

As for seeking more knowledge- take a look at the "man" in the mirror before you continue to throw stones in that glass house you live in.

Oh for fucks sake, can we have one week without this sort of shite?

This forum has been on the go for almost 5 years now, so you coming in here giving it the big 'un, telling people shit they already know, like you're some sort of expert, just makes you look like a bit of a dick. That reply didn't help.

Close the door on your way out.

It was fuckin' obvious that that cunt was gonnae fuck some cunt.

I'm starting to think we might be just a bit nicer.

And really, what's with all the comments about he many 'white pairs' this fella has. Don't know about you lot, but I've got four different pairs of white with black stripes alone!

But that Consortium nonsense is just that. Aside from the 35ths, I tend to think that whomever is giving numbers is talking out of his ass or selling something on eBay.

"I make tightly woven statements leaving no room for misinterpretation..."

Welcome man Smile. . . but you must admit that statement is a little bit Ron Burgundy.
We've all got a lot of shoes here, white or otherwise, and are passionate about them.
