I'm guessing 2,499 pairs were melted down to create those god-awful patent 80's abominations that were posted a couple weeks back.

That sounds reasonable if you mean the X-Larges which i like to call Disco sensations. They are awful indeed.

Nah not those, there was some patent (I think they were 80's) in the new Supes thread recently. Folk were calling them clown shoes.
