Haven't thought about it too much but I reckon, on the front page, have a description of each of the different styles, fake spotting guide and a couple of other bits and bobs to placate the vast majority of people who find their way here.
Anybody who's really serious and not just thinking about buying their first pair or got some beat up old shitters in the wardrobe that are probably Super Modifieds that they want to replace, can prove it and come in.
Cos let's be honest, it's a pain in the arse wasting your time welcoming people who are fuckin' lazy, can't be bothered to think for themselves or are just plain rude or spamming.
If we allowed 'em in, even a little, it complicates matters and frankly, Chat is one place they could cause the most disruption.
I have to run around like a blue arsed fly cleaning up after these tossers and my back hurts from pushing the hoover !

I don't think closing the forum to new members is the way to go personally but more down the road tom aka shotta suggested.
I know personally i got off to a bad start here when i 1st started posting on ssdb!!some people just don't come across how they mean to straight away so seems alittle harsh to me.
I think every1 deserves a fair crack of the whip and yes its annoying when we get a cock turn up but it doesn't take us long to figure out there a cock and then there gone no harm done really @ the end of the day.

That's what I thought you meant and that's exactly what that section was designed for.
The Adidas Superstar section was supposed to be for cataloguing and discussing different types and colours of Supes which it still is.
We need to move away slightly from just posting in the New Supes thread all the time cos some items are worthy of a thread of their own but idle chit chat about stuff, including Superstar related bizzle should probably stay where intended as we're mostly in here to chat about Superstars.

Another thing with all this is that older members who's opinion I'd much rather hear and value (sorry noobs) pop in and see loads of people posting who's names they don't recognise and subsequently don't bother to say fuck all.
And it'd put a stop to all the lurkers who bop about in here, gleaning bits of information but giving fuck all back who then go on to buy up limited editions for resale and or depraving the genuine collectors amongst us.
