Yeah i think thats the most mental shit you can get in vending machines over there. Tho i hear you can get eggs, umbrellas, ice cream, kerosene, Rhinoceros Beetles (!?!), hot ramen, bog roll, flowers, beer, porn, insurance and charge your mobile phone, all from vending machines.
Seriously, whats wrong with a desk and a shopkeeper?

Apparently its a system where you put your phone down on a special mat where the electromagnetic fields charge the battery in your phone for a short amount of time, clever really. They're common in hotels over there. I hear that this system should be out here in a couple of years rather than plug chargers, so you can charge all your rechargables at once.

I think the charger just came out but your phone has to have an inductive battery in it to use them.

Well yeah, to go into the science Pure, but its quite easy to confuse folk with that kinda mumbo jumbo

Theyre beggining to build electricals with the inducting units inside them now but i doubt it will be mainstream stuff for a while.

Electromagnetic fields eh? Does that mean you can charge your phone and what not without electricity?
Im guessing the mats powered by electricity.

It's being brought into loads of different systems.
It'll be everywhere in two or so years.
My mobile battery lasts nearly 3 days and fully charges in about 40 minutes already.

Yeah its all electric, but its different ways of moving the electricity around wirelessly. (Rather them than me cos the science just hurts my face)
I just cant wait for it to be brought into public places so you can just have your phone in your pocket charging while you stand at the bar.
Then onwards to the 3D hologram stuff he uses in Iron Man!
