Coffee table book. - Adiaz - 04-11-14

I'm not aware of Adidas doing a book on the history of Superstars but as I'm a fairly new beginner, I could be wrong. So it got me thinking...would there be an audience for such a book? It's only obviously a new idea - and if I get shot down, I get shot down - but I thought of trying to make one via Kickstarter or the like. It would be a kind of encyclopedia of Superstars, featuring all the sneakers from down the years. But I'd want to make it a fan based book, not about the celebs (or perhaps just the essential one's, anyway) . Collections, missed opportunities, stories but mainly, pictures. Like I say, it's just an idea and it may just stay as that and even if it didn't, it would take a long time but I just wanted to gauge a reaction. Any comments would be most welcome.

You're looking at one niche book, right there.
Doubt you'd get more than $500 worth of interest on Kickstarter and most of your customers would come from this forum.
I would estimate that 60-70% of the serious Superstar collectors in the world have either passed through or been active members of this forum over the years.
Just enjoy them, nobody needs a book.
No offence but if someone was going to put one together, it'd probably be better if it was someone who'd given a shit about them for a decade or two.

No offence taken and thanks for being honest.

shellpros kinda has it covered too... not a coffee table book, but you could have it permanantly loaded up on your on a tablet/ ipad and leave that on your coffee table.
