Ok, i thought thiese were a piss take when i saw them, because apart from the slightly different layout of the shell toe, they are identical to adidas superstars!
Apart from the huge umbro logo on the side..

He says they are a bit tight on the old toes tho, and they feel realy heavey.. whereas i dont find that with any of my kicks, except my pure white ultrastars..
they always squeeze me toes

i've heard umbro own the right for superstar?
-
paytwo - 18-08-06
Wherever did you hear that?
*edit* I know that some other (than Umbro, think it may be Mizuno?) non-adidas company owns the Superstar name in Asia, that´s why the 35th campaign came out looking different in Asia...
Now that´s a whole new ballgame in terms of collecting methinks...

Happarently they own the right to Superstar in Japan, that's why superstar didn't turn up on the sides of the Consortiums in Japan.
Hallegedly hallegedly !!

If it was Mizuno I'd get a pair to go with my cold steel, blade, golf clubs and I could play golf in them.
Unfortunately it's Umbro.
