Design your own colorway... - woody - 14-06-06

I've been wanting to do a thread like this for a while but I've not been able to find a suitbale image of the superstar to use!

Anyway, I saw this image posted on another forum, may well have been Crooked Tongues, and thought it was perfect so here we go.

Get the old creative juices flowing and design your own colourway using this blank Superstar 1:

Slowdown Gentlemen.
It's funny you know instead of coming on here yesterday I performed a post mortem on an old pair to see how they were put together.
I intend to refurbish them with my own colours and shit.
How mad that I come back on here today and this is going on.
I can't wait.
I'm gonna get right on it.
See Ya.
Cool

That sounds well good mr pure, I love taking stuff apart! Definitely post the results up when your done Very Happy

Olstar I did it all in layers and then flattened it. The sole and shell I did with a layer at 70% opacity, using the paintbrush set on overlay, at 100% and using black as the colour.

boobby dassler, Its photoshop mate Wink

I love the bottom ones.
I seperated each element into individual layers and added fat laces.
If any of you want that sent to you as a photoshop file, I'll mail it ya.
Hopefully it'll save me time when I'm designing new pairs.
I'm loving this.
Apparently that picture came from a book which is still for sale which is abscially just a big pad filled with shoes for you to colour in.
Cool

I've been trying to do my own for a while now (before this pic was posted) but i've only got paint & i find i can't do big chunks at a time & it's taking far too long to get all the lines right due to the shading used (even on this wikid pic woodys posted)...

Any help/advice/recommendations appreciated!

Cool

Dude, download adobe photoshop or macromedia fireworks..

Smile

then buy them :rolll: Laughing Laughing Laughing

Oh yeah, I've seen the book online somewhere, It's got loads of different kicks in it from all the main brands, the superstar is clearly gonna be the best though. Cool
