2008 Superstar Skates - Keeop - 06-01-08
No pics i'm afraid!
Just been reading an article with one of the 'adiskate' design people. I quote..."In the middle of 2008 there will be a redesigned shelltoe...that is modeled after an original late seventies model of the shoe. It's completely dialed in [whatever the funk that means]..and is true to the style of shelltoe everyone used to wear in the early nineties"
Don't really know what all that means with regard to the aesthetics of a superstar/shelltoe but can't wait til mid-08.

Great stuff, the superstar skates are a thing of beauty, I'm a picky sod and even I've got two pairs already, I'm sure they'll be more!
Half tempted to go on the bay and see if I can find a santa cruz rob roskopp with some slimeball vomits.

I don't know what one of those is but I don't think I want one!
I'm awaiting my second pair of superskates but must confess to never owning a skateboard or being up on the terminology, I just like the sneaks!

They should put that shell on all future Superstars (except the vintage model of course). The old shells look so much better than the newer ones - IMO anyway...

Glad to see you spotted my deliberate mistake. I of course was and have been meaning Superstar Skates as opposed to the far inferior Superskate.

i have even got a skateboard but with no wheels or trucks. im really sad.
