curious about price of originals - alww77 - 11-11-07

Hi,
I.m new here, A friend found his Superstars from when he was a kid in the 70's and we got to talking about how much they cost back in the day. I remember they were considered "expensive",but can't remeber what they went for back then. Any info would be appreciated.

Hi there,

Well.....I have a few 70's & 80's books and the price was a whole different game back then because we didnt have any of the special editions or collabs that we do now. The earliest price I remember for adidas was 1982 and the cost of my trainers was £19.00, which I guess would be about £70 quid today so comparisions with today.
